Before Optima, I was 18 years with a Canadian opinion polling company, a business that operates very much like a contact center. It was interesting work that I had to leave to avoid moving my family across the country. One of the things I learned there is that a person’s declared intention to vote—captured by a political poll—can be different than how they actually vote at the polling station. Unless you ask the right questions.

Anyway, my experience landed me at Optima in early 2020 with a very diverse set of skills. As a result, I’ve become Campaign Coordinator for one of Optima’s utility clients. In this role. I meet with our client daily and assist in any area necessary to serve that client to the best of our ability. That can be in technology, operations, shift planning, call center QC, hiring or almost anything.

My work at Optima has been sometimes challenging, but always interesting and rewarding. And Optima has allowed work to fit my life rather than the other way around. The proof that I really believe this is that I consistently refer friends and family members to work here. That’s definitely casting a vote for Optima.
